Rail Service for Game Day

MARTA will be operating enhanced rail services to accommodate the large crowds expected for the SEC Championship. All rail lines will be running on a Saturday schedule, starting bright and early at approximately 6 a.m. Expect trains to run frequently, every 10 minutes on both the North/South line between Airport and Lindbergh Center Stations, and on the East/West line between Ashby and King Memorial Stations.

To get fans directly to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, MARTA will operate a dedicated shuttle train from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This shuttle will run between Five Points Station and the Mercedes-Benz Stadium/State Farm Arena/GWCC Station, making your trip to the game seamless. Bus and Streetcar Services

MARTA buses will also be operating on their regular Saturday schedules. However, please be aware that Routes #3 Martin Luther King Jr Dr/Auburn Ave and #94 Northside Drive will be detoured due to street closures related to game day events. The Atlanta Streetcar will be running from 8:15 a.m. until 11:30 p.m., offering another transportation option within downtown Atlanta.

Purchasing Your MARTA Fare

To ride MARTA, you’ll need to purchase a Breeze Ticket or Breeze Card. A Breeze Ticket costs $1.00, while a reloadable Breeze Card is $2.00. On top of the card or ticket cost, the fare is $2.50 for a one-way trip or $5.00 for a round trip.

MARTA Police Officers and Transit Ambassadors will be on hand throughout the system to provide assistance if needed. When using the train, please stay clear of the doors as blocked doors can cause delays.
