Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium isn’t just lauded for hosting thrilling Atlanta Falcons games; it’s also gaining nationwide recognition for its remarkably fan-friendly food prices. A recent study by OLBG.com, a sports betting website, ranked Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the fourth best NFL stadium in the U.S. for food, highlighting its exceptional affordability.

While AT&T Stadium in Texas secured the top spot due to a high volume of positive food reviews, Mercedes-Benz Stadium stands out for its incredibly low concession prices. Imagine grabbing a hot dog for just $2! This isn’t a typo; it’s the standard price at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, making it the most affordable hot dog in the NFL.
But the savings don’t stop at hot dogs. For just $2, fans can also enjoy soft drinks and popcorn. A mere $3 will get you waffle fries, peanuts, pizza slices, or nachos with cheese. Even heartier options remain budget-friendly, with cheeseburgers at $5 and chicken tenders at $6. This pricing strategy, championed by Falcons owner Arthur Blank since the stadium’s opening in 2017, was designed with fans in mind. Blank, also co-founder of Home Depot, aimed to ensure that enjoying a game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium wouldn’t break the bank, especially for families. This commitment to affordability was even a part of Atlanta’s successful bid to host Super Bowl LIII, stipulating that these fan-friendly prices remain unchanged for the event. The Atlanta Hawks, the NBA team also housed in Atlanta, have since adopted this same approach to concession pricing, further cementing Atlanta’s reputation for affordable sports experiences.
In contrast to Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s value, stadiums like Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks, are at the other end of the spectrum, receiving the lowest food scores in the study. Lambeau Field and SoFi Stadium also lagged behind, proving that affordable and quality stadium food isn’t a universal NFL experience. Mercedes-Benz Stadium, however, offers a refreshing exception, proving that enjoying NFL action can be both thrilling and budget-friendly, thanks to its commitment to low food prices.
