Returns and Refunds

Discounted Items: Discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Refund Eligibility: Refunds are issued for items returned promptly in their original, undamaged packaging and in resalable condition. Items that have been fitted or damaged will not be eligible for a refund.
Verified Account Holder: EMBERTEK only accepts returns from the original purchaser. Refunds and replacements will only be provided to the verified holder of the buying account.
Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee, plus return postage costs, will be applied if an incorrect item is purchased due to the buyer not correctly reading the description. Returns made after 30 days from delivery will not be accepted.

Return Procedure:

You are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. Return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund issued.
For items over $75, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

Embertek Warranty

Embertek stands behind the quality of its products.

Brake Pad Warranty: Brake pads are covered by a warranty of 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.
Machinery Warranty: Machinery main components are warranted for 12 months.
Warranty Claim Process: If your item is faulty due to no fault of your own, we will process a warranty claim.
Exclusions: Embertek is not responsible for items damaged due to customer negligence, improper installation by non-certified personnel, misuse, or tampering, or items returned damaged, with missing parts, or in unsellable condition.
Resolution: Replacement or refund will be provided at our discretion.
Proof of Fitment: Proof of fitment by a certified mechanic will be required at the time of warranty claim.

Warranty Return Procedure:

Faulty items do not need to be in their original packaging but must be appropriately packaged to prevent damage during return shipping.
Returned items will be inspected and tested to determine if they will be repaired, replaced, or rejected.
If a replacement is approved and the customer has already purchased a new part, a refund will be processed. Replacement parts must be invoiced and paid for in full before pickup or shipment.
If repair is approved, the repaired part will be returned to the customer.
If the warranty claim is rejected, the customer can have the failed part returned to them, but no refund will be issued.
The original Embertek invoice must be presented with the failed part – this is mandatory.
